Dr. Pramod Pilania has a vast range of experience as a psychiatrist with two board certifications in Adult Psychiatry and in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He completed a four year residency in Psychiatry at the Temple University in Philadelphia where he served as a chief resident of Education and was voted by faculty the Kenneth H. Draper, M.D. award “For Excellence in Emergency Psychiatry during Residency Training" and a two year fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Drexel University where he served as a chief resident.

Dr. Pilania specializes in pharmacologic intervention for a full spectrum of psychiatric disorders including addictions. He is a Suboxone certified physician. His broad based experiences enable him to effectively treat children, adolescents, and adults who present with Autism, ADHD, Schizophrenia, mood disorders including Depression and Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety disorders and Substance Use Disorders. He practices evidence-based psychiatric practice (EBPP) which refers to the use of interventions, strategies and supports that have research documenting their effectiveness. He considers patient needs, values, preferences, and their integration in determining individual care.
